Children at Tumaini School smiling and learning

Why Sponsor?

Sponsorship is a simple act with a powerful impact. For a child at Tumaini, it means access to education, meals, school supplies, and a safe space to grow.

But it’s more than that—it’s hope. It’s someone believing in their future. Your support helps a child thrive in school, gain confidence, and dream bigger.

You don’t need to do something huge to change a life. You just need to care.

Sponsorship connects hearts and builds a better tomorrow—one child at a time.

What Happens When I Sponsor a Child?

Once we receive your sponsorship form, the school will be notified, and a child will be assigned to you based on the greatest need. If you’ve indicated a preference for a boy or girl, we will do our best to honour your request.

A photo of your sponsored child will be taken and sent to you by post or email, along with a welcome letter.

You’ll receive regular updates on your child’s progress, including academic reports, a letter from the child, and a new photo at least once every year.

What Does Sponsorship Include?

Your sponsorship helps secure a child’s continued education, improving their chances of finding a job or launching a business in the future.

It not only covers school fees but also provides school uniforms, learning materials, and a nutritious daily meal—while contributing to the strength of the wider community.

At Tumaini Timbwani School, we employ skilled Kenyan teachers, and part of your support goes toward their salaries, ensuring consistent, quality education.

Why Should I Sponsor a Child?

Because you feel led to.

Because your heart is moved.

Because offering hope matters—and you believe one child’s life can be transformed.

What Happens to the Money?

Education for Life operates as a non-profit Christian charity. The sponsorship funds you provide go directly toward supporting your sponsored child or project, as well as covering the essential operational costs related to that support.
