Zaidi – Share A Cow Initiative

Empowering Communities Through A Cow!

Zaidi means “Abundantly More” in Swahili, and it reflects our vision to sow what we’ve been given and multiply its impact.

Inspired by the parable of the entrusted coins, Zaidi is about choosing action over fear, and stewardship over hesitation. When we plant wisely and nurture what we have, growth becomes inevitable.

At the core of “Zaidi” is the Share a Cow Initiative. A donation purchases a cow for a local farmer, who repays the cost through milk sales. Once repaid, a new cow is bought for another farmer creating a sustainable cycle of empowerment.

This initiative has grown into a self-sustaining model, bringing lasting change to the community. To everyone who chose to share a cow — your generosity continues to multiply in powerful ways.

Saul with his cow and biogas system

The first calf belongs to Zaidi, but all others remain with the farmer allowing them to build their own herd and business.

Meet Saul, one of our early beneficiaries. Saul used his milk income to install a biogas system that now powers his home and nourishes his fields.

Nothing is wasted. Everything feeds into something greater.
