High School

In January 2006 we opened Tumaini Timbwani High School. We started with around 60 students in 2 classes.

Today we have a full complement of students from Forms 1-4. Each class has 40 students progressing towards their National Examinations, Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E). Once they have passed their K.C.S.E they can be selected for University, apply for a College course or enter the work place.

We aim not only to offer excellent academic opportunities but also practical subjects such as carpentry and home science, we encourage students to participate in varied extra curricular activities, recently the choir made it to the National Finals and our basketball team improves each year.

Without a High School education it is becoming almost impossible to get a job.
